Wow, I really like this beer. It is super super light in both color and alcohol content (3.1%) but it is also super super flavorful. It is brewed with lactobacillus and a hint of brettanomyces which are actually bacteria’s that most brewers don’t want to get in their brews because they leave a distinct sour flavor in the beer… that is unless you are The Bruery guys or Vinnie over at Russian River Brewing Co. who uses both of these bacterias in their barrel aged Belgian ales. The nose smells of yeast and wheat, almost no head at all, it is light and watery in the mouth, and has a really balanced and tart wheatie flavor to it. It tastes almost like what Temptation from RRBC would taste like if it wasn’t aged in Chardonnay barrels for 9 to 15 months. Like Temptation it reminds me of Txacoli, a tart sparkling wine from spain. This beer is also really refreshing.

This is my first beer from The Bruery, and after tasting this guy, it is not going to be my last.
