Website: Estate Brewers Harvest Ale
This is one of the only estate made ales available in the world, made with both barely and hops grown at the brewery. This little gem is freakin good. It is super smooth and flavorful. It is a perfect balance between the bitter hops and smooth delicious malt. Sierra Nevada isn’t one to disappoint when it comes to their specialty brews and this guy is no exception. The nose is light and fruity and in the mouth this beer is super complex and super balanced. It has a fruitiness that I just can’t place…the malt kind of tastes like a Bass Ale, but intertwined with the awesome citrus flavor of the hops…it is an awesomely complex ale. All I can say is it is smooth, fruity, hoppy and delicious…it is truly a shame that this guy is hard to track down because of its limited run, but if you do run across one of these 24oz bad boys, make sure to pick one up because they are way worth it…
