Now my Beginners Guide posts are for people who have no idea about how to start brewing and want to give it a try. When I started, I had no clue. My first beers were made with the horrible Mr. Beer kits purchased from Bevmo (I brewed two beers with that kit…the first tasted like shit, so I chalked it up to being my first beer but when the second came out like shit, I realized that the problem was not with me but with the horribly cheap kit). Still determined to get into home brewing, I started doing research on how to brew my own beer. It became painfully obvious that the Mr. Beer kit was closer to making lemonade than making beer so I started researching, buying books, and driving around to home brewing shops that were no longer in business looking for a good starting point. Unfortunately all of the info I ran into was about doing everything from scratch which just seemed way too hard to get started on my own. Then I stumbled across Williams Brewing Co. They have these things called home breweries. For a second, I thought, oh here we go again, but I clicked through on their site and started reading the specs and what comes with these kits. I immediately noticed that these are the real deal. The equipment they come with is all restaurant grade and ready for producing 5 gallon batches of beer. They even come with a beer kit for producing your first batch of beer (You can choose from 15 different beer types with your kit). So right out of the box for about $110 bucks you get all the tools you need to brew beer including instructions. The only other items you need are a pot that holds 3 to 4 gallons of water for boiling your wort and bottles.
Brewing with these kits are super easy, especially if you love to cook, and yield 5 gallons of the best and freshest beer you have ever tasted. I guarantee that all it will take is one batch before you are hooked and ready to start experimenting and creating your own beers.

Williams Brewing Co. is based in San Leandro, CA, been in business since 1979, and has great products and service. I would suggest these guys at anyone looking to start brewing.
