It is here, oh yes, it is here. K&L just got in a few cases of these bad boys and I was lucky to score 3 bottles. This is the first year I have been privileged enough to score a bottle and man do I feel like a lucky lucky man….that being said, let me try to review this dark and lovely beast. It pours from the bottle super smooth. It almost looks like you are pouring motor oil…it creates an awesome (have to apologize for the excessive use of awesome now) dark brown head. Taking a smell of the head, you get a sweet molasses flavor and the first sip of the beer you get a super complex spicy sweet malt and a alcohol kick in the teeth from the 11% ABV. It is bitter, dry and so so complex… and then sip number two brings a completely different ball game… the alcohol flavor drops away and you are presented with an awesomely dark sweet spicy chocolaty woodsy smokey oaky caramel greatness. Jesus this is a nice beer… can you tell im buzzing from already from this guy… the hint is I rhyme like an idiot… anyways, get out there now and find one of these guys. If you are in the SF Bay Area, K&L just emailed me saying that they secured another 10 to 15 cases so get out there, but I wouldn’t wait being that they sold 5 cases yesterday…
