Firestone Walker: 13th Anniversary Ale

All I can say is we-woo-wah-woooo… this guy is dark– so dark sweet and luscious. It has a real subtle nose but if you get way in there you can really get hints of the barrel and caramel… nothing to get tight pants over, but in the mouth it is a different story… when you take a sip, the first thing you get hit with is this crazy sweetness…

 
 

Sierra Nevada: Estate Brewers Harvest Ale

This is one of the only estate made ales available in the world, made with both barely and hops grown at the brewery. This little gem is freakin good. It is super smooth and flavorful. It is a perfect balance between the bitter hops and smooth delicious malt. Sierra Nevada isn’t one to disappoint when it comes to their specialty brews and this guy is no exception.

 
 

Dogfish Head: Pumpkin Ale

Smooth and sweet…no “pumpkin” flavor up front, well at least not the pumpkin flavor you would expect …this is a great mild “Bitter” type beer… Imagine New Castle but super fresh and kind of sweet with a mild spiciness and sweetness you just can’t place … it is very light on the hops, has a smooth sweet malt and you are left with a little spiciness on the tongue…
