Hey Hey… So haven’t had a chance to post beer buzz in a while… sorry about that… I landed a new job about 6 months ago and it is really sucking my beer drinking and writing time! Not to mention that my new office is hella far away from my go to craft beer shop… One good thing to come out of my job move I guess is I was able to use the fact that I can’t really make it over to my favorite shop any more as an excuse to create a app to help me find craft beer….
SF Beer Week is upon us! Feb 5th through 14th
Brought to you by the San Francisco Brewers Guild, SF Beer Week is an awesome week full of dozens of different beer drinking activities all over the SF bay area. The best part about SF Beer Week is how wide spread it is through the bay. You don’t have to travel far to find activities in your area. Some highlights, Russian River Brewery is releasing Pliny the Younger on the first day of the festival.

THE ABYSS 2009 Release Date Revealed
One of the most sought after seasonal brews has just been given a release date! This is the fourth seasonal release of The Abyss, a 11% imperial stout from Deschutes brewery is rolling out of the brewery November 3rd. It will be available in the Deschutes brew pub in Portland right away with a limit of 6 bottles per person. Talking with my beer guy from K&L, he said he is expecting a shipment in the next couple weeks. I can not wait to pick up a few bottles.
